Provider

onSET Prep is an independent training product. It is not the official onSET and is not offered or endorsed by the TestDaF-Institut, g.a.s.t., or the DAAD.

What we offer

Free content (sample C-Tests, selected grammar lessons, guides) is available without an account. The onSET Pass unlocks all C-Test texts, grammar lessons, simulations, and reports. The Anki decks are downloadable flashcard files. What each product contains is described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

Account

Paid content requires an account. If you buy without signing in, it is created with the email address from checkout; if an account with that address already exists, the purchase is unlocked there. Keep your sign-in details private; an account is for one person and may not be shared.

Prices and payment

All prices are one-time prices in the currency shown. The total shown at checkout is the final price. Payment is handled by Stripe. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.

Access and duration

After payment, access is unlocked on your account, usually within a few minutes. “Lifetime access” means access with no expiry date and no renewal fee for as long as we operate onSET Prep. If we ever shut the service down, we will announce it by email at least 30 days in advance; Anki decks you downloaded stay yours.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU/EEA and the UK have a 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online, starting when the contract is concluded. For digital content, it ends once access starts if, before buying, you expressly agreed that access starts immediately and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. We ask for this consent before every purchase and confirm it in your purchase email. If you did not give it, you can withdraw within 14 days by emailing support@onsetprep.com without giving a reason; we then refund the full amount to your original payment method.

Consumers in Brazil can withdraw within 7 days of purchase under Art. 49 of the Consumer Defense Code (CDC) and receive a full refund.

Using the content

Texts, lessons, exercises, and decks are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own preparation, but not copy, resell, publish, share, or extract them automatically.

No guaranteed result

The course helps you practice the C-Test format and the grammar it requires. We do not guarantee any score or CEFR level; practice scores are not an official classification.

Availability and changes

We keep the service running and improve it. We may update texts, lessons, and features as long as what you bought keeps its essential character. Short interruptions for maintenance can happen.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Mandatory consumer protection law is not affected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
